This large, colorful sculpture was created specifically for Franz West, To Build a House You Start with the Roof: Work, 1972–2008 at the BMA. The piece was featured in Peter Schjeldahl’s review of the BMA exhibition in The New Yorker, and the sculpture was later installed in New York’s Central Park.
