Educators also see a deep value in showcasing students’ work at the Museum as a way of establishing a relationship with art that can last a lifetime. For 21 years, the BMA has hosted an annual exhibition of work by Baltimore County K–12 students, and for the past three has hosted an exhibition featuring 400 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in 90 Baltimore City public schools. Both showcase the breadth of work nurtured by area schools’ art programs.
