The Middendorf Foundation Fund regularly supports American decorative arts acquisitions. It recently underwrote this exquisitely inlaid Aesthetic Movement table. Poised on tiny brass-shod feet, the table belongs to a small group of Lejambre pieces considered a high water mark of American art furniture.
