opening day: meet the artists

Several Work Ethic artists spend the day at the BMA staging art happenings and experiences that challenge our notions of what art can be.

Work Ethic curator Helen Molesworth leads a guided tour of the exhibition

Tom Marioni talks about his project, The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends Is the Highest Form of Art.

Hope Ginsburg makes a multi-media presentation about her Little Black Moustache and Rosy Red Cheeks temporary tattoos (for sale in the BMA Shop).
 
2:30 pm
Erwin Wurm discusses the ideas behind his artwork, including One Minute Sculptures featured in the exhibition.
 
3:30 pm
Alison Knowles performs her best-known work, Make a Salad, in the sculpture garden.
 
Ongoing

Hugh Pocock drills for water in the sculpture garden as part of his BMA-commissioned work.
