Celebrated since the ’60s for his uninhibited, hard-charging style, drummer Louis Hayes now leads the Cannonball Legacy Band accompanied by Vincent Herring on saxophone and Jeremy Pelt on trumpet.

Saxophonist Paul Carr stays true to his Southern roots with an unmistakably soulful style. The Texas tenor arrives at the BMA after numerous gigs at The White House and The Kennedy Center.
