St. Petersburg & the Baltic Capitals
September 17–30, 2013
Travel to the Baltics, where you’ll discover three distinct nations, their fascinating heritage and exciting transformation 20 years after the Iron Curtain opened. The tour starts in Vilnius, Lithuania, with its Baroque architecture and medieval towers, then onto Riga, Latvia, “Paris of the North.” Next is Tallinn, Estonia, famous for its “Old Town” and new contemporary art museum. The tour concludes in beautiful St. Petersburg, home to the world-renowned Hermitage Museum. Your escort on this trip will be with Jay Fisher, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs.
