The human figure, whether clothed or nude, has always been a subject of fascination and challenge for artists. Please be aware that you may encounter an occasional nude figure when visiting the BMA online.

Terms and Conditions for Looking Now: BMA Digital Photography Project
By entering, participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Baltimore Museum of Art, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives, from any and all third party liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with Looking Now: BMA Digital Photography Project, including without limitation any third party claim for copyright infringement or a violation of an individual’s right to privacy and/or publicity right.
By entering your photograph in Looking Now: BMA Digital Photography Project Flickr™ group, you declare to the BMA that the photograph was taken by you and is your own original work which will not infringe the copyright or privacy and publicity rights or any other rights of a third party.
Digital images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, and artistic merit, as well as relevance to the BMA’s exhibition. The judges include the BMA’s Associate Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs, Programs Manager, and Deputy Director for Education and Interpretation. The BMA shall determine selection of images at its sole and absolute discretion. All decisions made are final. The BMA will not promote or endorse third-party products or services. Participants must not employed by The Baltimore Museum of Art.
In the event that your photograph is chosen to be displayed in the BMA Looking Now Digital Gallery, it will be displayed along with your Flickr™ screen name and the title of the image. In that case, we will contact you through FlickrMail™, and you will be given the opportunity to have your real name included in place of your screen name. If you do not respond as directed in the FlickrMail™, the BMA will be obliged to use your Flickr™ screen name. Any personal information of entrants will only be used for the purposes of running the competition.
