The BMA is located on Art Museum Drive at North Charles and 31st Streets, three miles north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the neighborhood of Charles Village.

From Downtown Baltimore
Take Calvert Street north to 29th Street. Turn left on 29th Street and bear to the right after the third light, following the road around Wyman Park. Merge onto Art Museum Drive, and the BMA will be on your left.
From Northern Locations (Philadelphia, New York)
Take I-695 West (toward Towson), then take Exit 23, I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). Follow I-83 several miles to Exit 7, towards 28th Street. Follow 28th Street to the fourth traffic light, and turn left onto North Howard Street. Go one block on Howard Street, crossing 29th Street, and bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.
From Southern Locations (Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia)
Take I-95 North to I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Follow MLK Boulevard for approximately one mile, staying in the center lane to avoid being forced into right or left turns. As MLK Boulevard ends, it bears left and turns into North Howard Street. Follow North Howard Street, and after crossing 28th Street, bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.
From Eastern Locations
Take I-95 or Route 40 to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) toward Towson. Take 695 to Exit 23, I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). Follow I-83 several miles to Exit 7, towards 28th Street. Follow 28th Street to the fourth traffic light, and turn left onto North Howard Street. Go one block on Howard Street, crossing 29th Street, and bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.
From Western Locations

BMA Parking Lots
Limited visitor parking is available in the BMA East and West lots. Van-accessible parking spaces are available in the circle near the Museum's Visitor Entrance and in the BMA East Lot. Pay for parking at the automated kiosk in the BMA Lobby (Tuesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m.).

JHU South Garage
This 600-space underground parking facility is located on the campus of The Johns Hopkins University (JHU). BMA visitors receive a $2 discount with validation in the BMA Lobby.
A $6 flat rate is in effect from 3:45 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and all day on weekends.

On-Street Parking
Baltimore City’s E-Z Park pay-and-display metered parking is available along Art Museum Drive and North Charles Streets. E-Z Park Meters accept coins, debit cards, and credit cards. After pre-paying, simply display the printed parking receipt on the dashboard of your vehicle.

Local
The BMA is conveniently located near Maryland Transit Administration bus lines (Nos. 3 and 11). www.mtamaryland.com
Out of Town
Amtrak offers convenient trains with several routes making stops in Baltimore. Trains arrive and depart from Pennsylvania Station, just a few minutes away from the museum. Taxis are available at Penn Station, as are MTA buses (Nos. 3 and 11).

Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport serves travelers in the Baltimore/Washington corridor, with approximately 70 destinations and 350 nonstop departures. BWI is located just 17 miles from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and 20 miles from the BMA.
