The BMA is located on Art Museum Drive at North Charles and 31st Streets, three miles north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the neighborhood of Charles Village.

From Downtown Baltimore
Take Charles Street north to 29th Street. Turn left on 29th Street and bear to right after the next light, following the road around Wyman Park. Merge onto Art Museum Drive, and the BMA will be on your left.
From Northern Locations (Philadelphia, New York)
Take I-695 West (toward Towson), then take Exit 23, I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). Follow I-83 several miles to Exit 7B, 28th Street. Follow 28th Street to the fourth traffic light, and turn left onto North Howard Street. Go one block on Howard Street, crossing 29th Street, and bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.
From Southern Locations (Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia)
Take I-95 North to I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Follow MLK Boulevard for approximately one mile, staying in the center lane to avoid being forced into right or left turns. As MLK Boulevard ends, it bears left and turns into North Howard Street. Follow North Howard Street, and after crossing 28th Street, bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.
From Eastern Locations
Take I-95 or Route 40 to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) toward Towson. Take 695 to Exit 23, I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). Follow I-83 several miles to Exit 7B, 28th Street. Follow 28th Street to the fourth traffic light, and turn left onto North Howard Street. Go one block on Howard Street, crossing 29th Street, and bear right at the fork onto Art Museum Drive.

Member Parking Discount
A new 600-space underground parking facility is now open on the campus of The Johns Hopkins University (JHU). All BMA visitors receive a special museum rate in the garage after validating their parking ticket in the BMA Lobby. Members receive an additional discount on the museum rate in South Garage when they check-in at the BMA Box Office.
Remember to bring your parking ticket into the Museum with you for easy validation in the BMA Lobby. Convenient parking payment options are now available in the BMA Lobby.
Improved! BMA-Gated Parking Lots
Member Parking Discount
Premium gated parking is offered in the BMA East and West visitor parking lots and Handicap spaces are located near the Museum’s Visitor Entrance. Parking ticket machines and entry and exit gates have been added in the parking lots, and a Pay Station is now located in the BMA Lobby.
Convenient parking payment options are now available in the BMA Lobby.
Improved! On-Street Parking along Art Museum Drive
Baltimore City’s newly upgraded E-Z Park pay-and-display metered parking is now available on Art Museum Drive. E-Z Park Meters accept coins, debit cards, and credit cards. After pre-paying, simply display the printed parking receipt on the dashboard of your vehicle.
Depending on the parking option you choose, for a two-hour visit please expect to pay:
$1 E-Z Park Meters on Art Museum Drive
$5 JHU South Parking Garage
$6 BMA East and West Lots
Evening flat parking rates of $5 are in effect for the BMA Lots from 5 p.m. until midnight, and at the JHU South Parking Garage from 3:45 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and all day on the weekends.

The BMA is conveniently located near Maryland Transit Administration bus lines (Nos. 3 and 11). www.mtamaryland.com
Out of Town
Amtrak offers convenient trains with several routes making stops in Baltimore. Trains arrive and depart from Pennsylvania Station, just a few minutes away from the museum. Taxis are available at Penn Station, as are MTA buses (Nos. 3 and 11).

Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport serves travelers in the Baltimore/Washington corridor, with approximately 70 destinations and 350 nonstop departures. BWI is located just 17 miles from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and 20 miles from the BMA.
