Three exhibitions dedicated to key works by artists Sharon Lockhart, Tschabalala Self, and Lisa Yuskavage are scheduled to open in the Contemporary Wing on March 28. The exhibitions extend the BMA’s 2020 Vision initiative into 2021 following pandemic-related closures last year. 2020 Vision aims to provide greater recognition for female-identifying artists and leaders. The presentations are slated to remain on view through September 19, 2021. Katharina Grosse’s immersive site-related environment, Is It You? (2020), which opened March 1, 2020, will remain on view in the central gallery of the Contemporary Wing through that date as well.

2020 Vision is generously sponsored by the Ms. Foundation for Women and PNC Foundation.

The 2020 Vision installation of the Contemporary Wing is generously sponsored by BGE, Constellation, and Exelon.
