Perhaps imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This striking New-York-made ice bowl purposefully imitates the repoussé style for which two Baltimore silversmiths, Samuel Kirk and Andrew Ellicott Warner, were renowned. The capacious bowl held the ice. A pierced liner at the bottom of the bowl let water from melted ice pass through into the wide splayed foot, which is actually a hollow receptacle.
