One of three irregularly shaped pieces of white silk crepe printed with repeating rows of two alternating designs including a stylized floral motif in blue and black and two affronting birds or roosters depicted in turquoise, chartreuse, fushia, orange, and rust: (a): A pattern piece, possibly partial bodice or tunic. The shape includes armholes, shoulder and necklines and there appear to be disassembled seams. All edges are left cut and unbound. (b): A pattern piece for a sleeve with a capped top with remnants of a machine-stitched seam. The fabric is slightly gathered at the top to give room for the shoulder. The remaining three sides are left cut and unbound. (c): A pattern piece for a sleeve with a capped top slightly gathered to create room for the shoulder. At the center of the bottom edge is a 2' high and 1-1/2' wide slit that has been finished with a slip stitch. The remaining sides are left cut and unbound.
Ex. Coll: Evergreen House.
