One of fifteen small weaving samples from the studio of Dorothy Liebes. This example consists of a twill-woven piece of cloth using metallic yarns and tapes and silks and wools in a variety of forms (yarns, ribbons or tapes, rick-rack) and colors, including red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and black/brown.
All samples were originally attached to a white cardboard mount with the number of the design and name of the designer written by hand. (Removed for conservation reasons but saved in Textile Department.)
