One of fifteen small weaving samples from the studio of Dorothy Liebes. This example consists of a twill-woven stripped fabric with flat gold metallic yarns as well as, other yarns of dull lavender, bright purple, orange, fuchsia, maroon, teal, and grey. The direction of the weave changes at certain points.
The sample was originally attached to a white cardboard mount with the number of the design and name of the designer written by hand. (Removed for conservation reasons but saved in Textile Department.)
